Greetings,
Advent is a time to celebrate light in the midst of darkness, a time of preparation, anticipation, and hope. It’s celebrating a truth about God, the revelation of God in Christ.
Christ’s birth is the reason the church exists, the reason to glorify God.
As we contemplate and remember His birth we ask where is God calling us as a community of faith? How can we move forward together so that we will assure that we will be here in 2024, connecting the story of our congregation’s life to the larger story of Christ’s birth?
Advent is the season when we prepare ourselves to receive God’s gift of Jesus. It is a time of “getting ready” for the celebration of Christmas.
Faith Community Christian Church wants to be your church and we invite you to come home for the holidays. To our friends who have been away for a while, welcome home, come and celebrate with us again.
Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be celebrated in the Sanctuary at 1 p.m.
Make unwrapping Heaven’s gift the first gift on Christmas morning.
